Day 8: “Hello Mommy!” She’s finally in a regular bassinet.
Here’s a view of her bedside, minus all the equipment from the previous week. She was now only occupying one space, as opposed to two!
Day 9: Sleeping so soundly. She stayed that way for hours, despite our best efforts to wake her up for nursing.

Day 10: Moved to another “pod” in the NICU. This is a step-down area, where going home is getting closer. She received her last dose of antibiotics that night.
Day 11: “Welcome back, Daddy!” She was moved to yet another step-down “pod”. It’s kind of nice to hear the nurses say that they needed her previous bed for a sicker baby. It means that she’s truly improving.
