Day 30: I Made It!

Hip hip…Hooray!! Yes, my loyal fans, we’ve reached the end of NaBloPoMo. Thanks for sticking with me. I had fun doing it, and will try it again next year. Maybe one year, I’ll try my hands at the novel writing month too.

Well, Praise the Lord!! I paid off the last little bit of my student loan today. I started repaying my loan in 3 parts back in February 2002. According to the payment schedule, it was to take me 9.5 yrs to repay my loan, and oodles of interest on top of the roughly $16,000 I was lent for the course. Instead, I finished paying it today, November 2007. That’s like what–5 yrs 9 months or so… I’m quite thankful this evening. That’s definitely an answer to prayer!!

My sister-in-love came home from work wearing one of those now infamous coloured wrist bands. Hers is purple, signifying her commitment to living complaint free. The intent is to cease complaining, criticizing and/or gossiping. I think it’s a wonderful idea, because you’re pledging to improve your life. I don’t have a wristband myself, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t use less negativity in my life. So, in order to encourage healthy living in this home, I’m going to work on curbing my negativity too.

Alrighty, time to read and snuggle with my Baby. Nitey nite, all!
