That’s right folks…I’m getting a new bag. It’s to replace the relatively new-ish one that I’d just purchased a short 3 months ago. Ooh la la, you say, please describe the bag.
It’s great! It’s by JJ Cole. It holds a ton of stuff and looks pretty stylish. It has 6 inside pockets, 1 huge back pocket and 2 side pockets. It also comes with a matching & very attractive change pad & pacifier pod. I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on the bag. There’s also a shoulder pad thingee on the strap. It also has a smaller pocket to hold your iPod and a slot for the headphones. I have it in the cocoa & pink colours.
So, what was the problem? Well, one of the straps starting ripping & fraying a bit. I’m not sure why; it’s not like the bag get heavy duty use from me. So, when I went by Baby Bin yesterday, I mentioned it to the girl who was working there. She suggested I call JJ Cole and let them know about it.
I called today, thinking I was just going to file a complaint and find out if this tearing thing is common. I had no expectations from this call; after all, the bag is 3 months old. The customer service girl I spoke with was very kind. In fact, she offered to have me send in the bag and they would replace it.
Yippee! I started doing High 5s with Jamayia. She had a blast from our little game. I also did pause to thank God too. Like I said, I had no expectations. I thought I was just gonna have to stick with the bag until the strap finally fell off and I could get a new one. So I was very pleasantly surprised to hear JJ Cole offer to replace it for me.
